Re: Photoview360

Render done with PhotoView360. A highres render takes ~7 min on a Ryzen 5 3600. Why would I use Visualize when I can get any stand-alone render engine that doesn't require Solidworks subscription? I hate the fact that I would have to redo all appearances and render settings when leaving SW. PhotoVi...

I'd like to see some Visualize renders from board members, and input on settings.
What do you mean with "settings"? Quality settings or rather lighting and materials? Post processing could be also necessary.

Re: How often do you do renderings?

I'm doing rendering just for fun, it's a hobby. Sometimes I do a lot of rendering and modeling for days or rather weeks, but in other cases I don't do it for a lot of time. Here are some of my latest renderings. https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/035/883/020/large/stephan-tobias-asse...

Re: The "Old SolidWorks Forum"

The old forum was on the Jive platform, which was no longer being supported. I wasn't confused by the decision to move away from it.... You are right Glenn, that's what I meant. They shuted down the whole forum and switch to that "super-duper" new plattform with such of great (rather not ...
