Re: Photoview360
Render done with PhotoView360. A highres render takes ~7 min on a Ryzen 5 3600. Why would I use Visualize when I can get any stand-alone render engine that doesn't require Solidworks subscription? Re: Photoview360
I think you are right, PV360 is more intuitive to learn by "normal" Solidworks users. In the past, as Visualize started, I've big struggles because the workflow of Visualize is much complex then PV360. The results were worse in a direct comparision to the fast (or rather easier to create) ...

Re: How often do you do renderings?
I'm doing rendering just for fun, it's a hobby. Sometimes I do a lot of rendering and modeling for days or rather weeks, but in other cases I don't do it for a lot of time. Here are some of my latest renderings. https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/035/883/020/large/stephan-tobias-asse...

Re: The "Old SolidWorks Forum"
The old forum was on the Jive platform, which was no longer being supported. I wasn't confused by the decision to move away from it.... You are right Glenn, that's what I meant. They shuted down the whole forum and switch to that "super-duper" new plattform with such of great (rather not ...
