I'm thinking of getting a new laptop. I looked online at each one and I like the HP best.
Problem is the price is over my budget. They have a cheaper model that comes with RTX A1000 4GB.
My question is if the A1000 is okay for solidworks. I have sw2012, 2014 and 2020.
Thanks,

SW Renewal Cost
Just curious about SW average yearly service renewal cost. My VAR sent me a quote for 1 year service renewal for a single seat SW Professional standalone. The original price quote in July was $1870 USD plus tax. Total including tax $2065 USD. After they sent two follow up emails they called me today...

Re: Importing Solid Edge step file into Solidworks
So,.. why are you not directly opening them in SW as native *.PAR;*PSM;*ASM ...or, just "Parasolid"? The only file I got was .stp. Not sure how to open .stp as native *.PAR;*PSM;*ASM ...or I did manage to import .stp into SW then save as Parasolid. Then open Parasolid and the assembly and...

Re: How to find volume of hopper
Years ago I put together a volume catalog for our owner, using Quatro Pro, pre-Excel... I needed to find the volumes and tonnage per silo from 10' dia to 30 foot high to 100' dia to 200 foot high, with material weighing 25lbs per cu ft to 180lbs per cu ft and the other option was that each diameter...
