FWIW: (Using 2024/2.0) it'll flatten if the left side of the sketch is changed to construction lines or the flange is flush/behind the bend.

Re: PLM options for SolidWorks
My last two employers have used DDM and DBWorks . As an end user I didn't have any issues with either once I learned the button pushes. DDM managed Creo, SW & ACAD and initiated/signoffed/approved ECNs. DBWorks managed SW files. ECN were via email chain and the factory/floor would see the update...

Hi, Problem is, I was a heavy keyboard user - I only ever used mouse for navigation and selections, as everything else was assigned to keyboard shortcuts. But that is very inconvenient with SpaceMouse, constantly having shift my hand from it to the keyboard. This is the reason I quit using the Spac...

Can't use '/' as a configuration name.
In our system, 95% of the time configuration name = our P/N so the '/' isn't missed. But when I've used fractions in configuration names, like Alex I've used decimals and then use the faction in the configuration description.

@Glenn Schroeder the 'Up to ref..." is new to me. I've always used equations, in an Excel Design Table, to calculate the values in the sketch array and keep it centered on the part. I'll have to try 'Up to ref..." next time and see how that works.

It's because currently everything fixed. If it's fixed it won't move when the length of the panel changes. If you mate the angle to the panel then it will move with the panel. Best practice is only have your first part fixed and use mates to locate all other parts in an assembly. Capture166.JPG With...

The simplest way to handle that would likely be to have multiple configurations in the model. Reference whichever is appropriate in the Assembly, which would be reflected in the BOM. This method also has the least potential for errors, lost links, mates, etc when switching from one to another. Have...

The part count on our assemblies isn't large so making every option a config isn't a problem. If it's on the ERP BOM it needs to be on the SW BOM. Loctite/solder/etc are in the SW assembly. Cables are done w/ ACAD so while there may be 4 different cables just need a correctly routed faked cable with...
