So , i found something interesting. When i supressed one of the features (closed corner) everything worked - all errors were "fixed" and i could recreate new ones. I tried to edit feature , and i noticed that gap was 0.01 mm. After i changed it to 0.1mm everything worked. image.png 0.01 is...

Yes.
Unfortunately it wont work.
Biggest suprise to me is why this part is loaded normally at PC's of my colleague who have exactly same settings as me, and on my PC it shows red feature tree.

Sketch is on the other side (face which is not visible)so direction is ok.
Anyhow it does not work in any direction no matter what depth i choose.

The feature failed to cut the body

I opened file and after CTRL+Q feature tree is red and yellow. First error is with cut extrude option and it says "the feature cant cut the body" . I cant add any new features because of same error. Same file on another PC - no errors :D Any ideas what went wrong? Pc's have same confogurat...

Why bother to use convert to sheet metal?
You can model this with native sheet metal tools , and probably you will get better results.

I am using bottom up , same procedure with mates in assembly.
For weldments i like to use multibody.
Sometimes i use multibody and save bodies external (this method always worked for me without any issues)

Programmer is one who is responsible for that.

Only reason why i am trying to re-attach is because i am curious will it work (usually it does not)
If i am under pressure , or have tight deadline , i will never try to re-attach , deleting and adding new dimension is easier.

2018 was most stable and fastest to me.
Currently we are at 2021 it is much slower , but it has some nice new features which make me happy.

I like to model welds because sometimes i am too lazy to add symbol in drawing and write all numbers.
Than SW proves me than its better not to be lazy , because i always end up deleting weld beads and use callouts anyway :D

I am using MB sheet metal approach , and even worse i am using save bodies to make assembly all the time :D (it just work for me , although i know other have issues and bugs with that) I am using a lot of weldments , but even without it , i still prefer MB with sheet metal only. Everything here is done with 3D model , and only purpose of the drawing is to check dimensions , which never happens anyway :)
