Re: How to delete grayed out InContextFeature in asm?
The only way to delete them is remove the incontext relations. And thus my question Gupta. There are no listed relations when I rmb and show External References. rmb on the greyed out link show no options. There is no Parent/Child relationship shown. So how to I find the incontext relation from a p...

Re: How to delete grayed out InContextFeature in asm?
I cannot simply hide them. The old parts names are now classified as CUI. So by the names showing up in the greyed out text that cannot be deleted, it's against contract. So I've gone ahead and rebuild the all the assemblies from scratch. But was hoping there was an easier way to manipulate this und...

So close! I setup your equation with our "WEIGHT" properties, but it brings in the mass of the top level assembly called out in the print instead of the specific part mass for that row. Going to work with the equation some more.

Control of decimal places in BOM
I have an intendent BOM. Top level assemblies are set to zero places, sub-1000 lb asm's set to 1 dec place. Piece parts are set to 2. Yet some of the parts are stuck at zero decimal places. sw4.jpg I've looked at print properties, part properties, BOM properties. Driving me nuts. I went through ever...

Re: How to find rollback'd component?
Haven't tried the macro. Company PC, so we're locked out of a lot of stuff like that. I ended up trying 'form new sub-assembly' while deselecting one assembly at a time until I did not get the error. Then I went to the offending assembly and repeat. drilled down about 6 times to the final sub-assemb...

How to find rollback'd component?
I'm trying to 'form new sub-assembly' but get an error :
Cannot add: one of components in rollback state. So, couple thousand parts, how do I find the culprit without having to open every part?

How to delete grayed out InContextFeature in asm?
After an asm has been bounced around, copied, pack-n-go, and renamed several times, I've ended up with these grayed out InContextFeatures referencing old obsolete parts. Looks messy presenting to customer. Cannot outright delete. No External Ref. No Parent/Child relationships. Renaming a certain way...
