Section View turns off when switching configurations

Just started using SW2021 and noticed that Section View turns off when switching configurations in an assembly. In previous versions I used it didn't do that. I have looked through the settings and couldn't find anything on how to keep the section view on.

what about setting your display states to "link display states to configurations" as off.
then make a display state with the section and then when you switch config you just change the display state
