Solidworks Freelancer

Unread post by SPerman »

We are looking for someone to help backfill my design workload. We are currently using Solidworks 2020. PM me if you are interested, or know someone who might be. If there are better resources for hiring contractors please share those as well.

You might get better responses if you mention what kind of design work you need help with.

I wasn't sure how much detail to go into in the post vs. PM.

The parts we design are fairly simple in the general scheme of things. Almost all of the parts could be manufactured with 2.5d CAM. No surfacing, No weldments, No multibody anything. You can see examples of the equipment we build on our website. ctwautomation.com

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

I should add that this is part time work to be done remotely. (Unless you happen to live in Lexington, NC. :))

@Lapuo,
That's one of the features of this forum. When you PM someone, it stays in your "Outbox" until it is read by the recipient.

Would you/your company be providing the SolidWorks license or would you need the person doing the work to have the license?

I've always wondered how many companies out there are looking for this kind of help. I've been thinking for years that I might just plop down the cash for a license and then look for some part time work. Main reason is so I have my own license to do things I want to, but do enough work to pay for the annual cost.

TOO BAD THE VARS Don't like to keep a list of who is looking for work. Even better yet they could just contract us out. Think that Trimech does that. It would be a great way to keep the customers happy with some talented solidworks users, and also help keep us in work.
