replacing component auto filter is reversed

Unread post by colt »

Maybe I have lost it, but I thought that when replacing a component the filter in the explorer window would default to the extension of the component being replaced. Somehow mine has gotten flipped. Replacing a .sldprt defaults filter to *.sldasm and replacing assembly defaults to *.sldprt

Changing the filter does not stick for the next time.

Anyone know how to fix? Registry value?
Maybe a neutrino hit my hard drive?

It is somewhat random for me. Sometimes it gets it right, sometimes not. I think it has something to do with what was opened last (which would mean its not random) but I haven't taken time to investigate.
