I created a simple hole on a face of a block. I then created a dimension from an edge of the face to the center of the simple hole.
But the dimensions does not show in the Equation Manager.
Is this normal behavior? I am not a regular user of SolidWorks, so am I missing something?
I inserted exactly similar and similar dimension using Hole Wizard and Cut Extrude feature. But Equation Manager displays them. So, what's wrong with Simple Hole?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Re: Simple Hole sketch dimensions in Equation Manager
I never use the "simple hole" command. I always use hole wizard.
However, I tested it out in SW 2022, SP4, and I can confirm that any dimensions that I add to that sketch do not show up at all in the equation manager.

Re: Simple Hole sketch dimensions in Equation Manager
But if I manually add an equation in the dimension manager, then it does show up in the equation manager.

Re: Simple Hole sketch dimensions in Equation Manager
Thank you for response.
Another way is to manually edit the dimension itself and add = symbol before the value to convert it into an equation. It then shows up in Equation Manager.
