Solidworks Smart Mates for Dowel Pin on Blind Hole

Is there a way to get smart/reference mate for the chamfered end of a dowel pin to a blind hole. There is no issue on a thru hole since it's a edge to surface or surface to surface but can't seem to get pin bottom (chamfer side) to the 118° cone surface of the blind hole to mate. Doing this with regular round edge and cone surface is no problem but would like to have a smart mate to drag and drop the dowel pin into into the blind hole of a part.

Any ideas?

You can use a face mate reference if you edit the chamfer of the dowel to 31° so as to match the angle of the cone. Of course the depth will be slightly off...
