How to turn off this "feature"?

Unread post by DennisD »

I am annoyed with this when I am placing a dimension:

Can someone please tell me how to disable this? I have not found what/where it is controlled.
(Yes, I know, it is probably something that is supposed to be good for me, but I'm tired of it.)

I also searched this forum for a list that named all of the SWX symbols, but could not find it. I thought I had seen one here before. Can anyone point to a link where that might be available? I've searched a bit on the internet and have not yet found an exhaustive list.

Thanks in advance!

@Glenn Schroeder had a post on the old forums that listed all of the icons. Hopefully he can provide a link if it still exists somewhere.

Jim Wilkinson put that together when he worked for SW, but unfortunately the link to it that I posted no longer works.

I'll admit I hated this thing at first but once I learned it, found that it's extreme quick to place dimensions once you commit to muscle memory. Kind of like the right click to ok a command. Both would be hard to live without now.

I found it on the wayback machine, but all of the pictures are missing. :(
