Title block in multi-sheet, multi-part drawing

I was working on creating some drawing templates and wondering is the common practice when it come to title block in multi-sheet drawing with different part?

For example, the first sheet I have the drawing of a welded sheet metal assembly.
The 2nd sheet is the drawing of the child part that is used in the welded sheet metal assembly.
The 3rd sheet is another child part that is used in the welded sheet metal assembly.

In this case, do we use the same title block as first sheet (All sheet have the same title block)?
Or should each title block be different (link to their own custom property)?

My current approach is to have the same title block for all sheet but with note/table stating the child part part's part number, description, rev on 2nd and 3rd sheet

We always use the child part's properties for the title block. We also have a title block field for the drawing file name as well as the sheet name to help clarify any questions. The exception is when the drawing is isolating only one body from a weldment; then the weldment part file is used for the title block because you can't use cutlist properties for that.

The goal is to prevent warm bodies from traipsing into my office and asking questions that could have been easily answered on the drawing.

How do you name this one drawing file?

We would have 3 separate drawing files named by part/drawing number. But we have a big need to reuse parts on various assemblies as much as possible. Combining them all into one drawing makes it harder to share.

The drawing file name is same name as the main assembly placed in the first sheet.

We normally use multi-part drawing when the assembly will be purchased as a single part (which mean the vendor will fabricate the base part and weld them together)
We combine them in one drawing so that we only need to control one drawing for this kind of assembly

Having the drawing file name in the title block seem like a really great idea...
How come i never thought about it

I use property callouts and have a template for multi-body part. Our part numbering users the file name, and the body name, so when it comes to the drawing, we use a combination of filename+sheetname to show the part number.

Every other property is a floating annotation, weight, description, etc..

Do yourself another favor, add the part and drawing links to the Sheet Format, so it makes it easier to look up the part etc.
