We have an issue where when one of our users enters information on a file and saves it, PDM does not seem to be reading the information that user enters to properly update a file description. Example: A new file with a title block data of "Monkey" that should be added to the card on a check-in/file update does not get read by PDM. The data is in the file correctly, PDM just "isn't seeing it when this user fills it." Another user can come, make a change to the drawing that requires a new save - having done NOTHING to the data in question - and then suddenly PDM can properly read the attribute from the file, and update the file card info.
What could be causing this? User A and B should have the same permissions and such.
PDM2020. Autocad2019.
Thanks.

Re: PDM not Updating File Card
Is it during the initial check-in? At a previous place I had the variables clear out during the auto-transition from "initial state" to "WIP". That way if were doing a copy tree, all of the revision variables, part description, etc, would be wiped out. It made you check out the new part to work on it, but it saved a lot of headaches and time wiping out the old variables.
