Derived sketch in a separate sketch

Is there way of creating a derived sketch from a drawing in Part 1 into Part 2?

To elaborate:
I want to draw a sketch in Part 1 and then create a derived version of that sketch in Part 2, allowing me to change the sketch in Part 1 which automatically changes the sketch in Part 2

Thanks in advance
Rob

Use Insert>Part command and select only sketches to import. This will only bring in the sketches from that part (and they will update automatically).

Other option is to have the parts inside assembly and then you can copy the sketch into part 2 using convert entities.

And you can also create a block of the sketch in insert into the part. When you edit the block, it will be updated in both the parts.
