Solidworks CAD Designer

We are looking for an individual who has the ability to support Engineers with projects throughout the product development process. The ideal candidate has a minimum 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical product design of new product assemblies. The Job is not remote, must be local or willing to move to the St.Louis Area.

Salary $55,000-$70,000 (This is a Full Time - Long Term opportunity)

What the ideal candidate needs are:

Associates or Bachelors of Science degree or certification in technical related disciplines with 3 years minimum experience of engineering in electro-mechanical product designs.
Background in documentation control procedures for the release of product, ECO (Engineering change order) and Product Data Management (PDM)
What you will do:

Utilize Solidworks 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawings (Our client may test you on CAD Skillset)
Design and drawing experience in machined, plastic injection molding, die-cast and stamping components.
Process ECOs for existing products
Provide technical drawing views and product outline drawing to illustration groups for troubleshooting, spec sheets, product bulletins and installation manuals.
Work alongside operations, purchasing, marketing, and manufacturing.
Work alongside vendors to appropriate accurate specifications of materials, components and quality requirements
Establish and maintain part number information and engineering assembly BOMs (Bill of Materials)
What we require:

The ideal candidate is someone who has experience with Solidworks Sheetmetal, Solidworks PDM, Solidworks PCB connector, Solidworks Animation. Experience in Creo 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawings. Familiarity with Epicor ERP Systems for engineering data entry and Autodesk Revit family creation for building information modeling. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drawing or DraftSight experience for minimal editing of past AutoCad drawings.
