This is an old story. The short moral of this story is that travel locks will not protect your bags from criminals.

Hmm. Interesting for sure. But I’m not sure what the point is to sharing links to the hacked keys on this forum.

So if you forgot your code, you can still unlock the lock.

Re: 7 TSA Master keys
Can you re-set a combo lock if it is unlocked this way? It's a real bummer trying to get through all the 10000 combinations (0000 thru 9999).

I explicitly wrote a short moral for those who REDACTED.Marshall Wilson wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 12:23 pm Hmm. Interesting for sure. But I’m not sure what the point is to sharing links to the hacked keys on this forum.
Further investigation of the links provided will expose that most TSA approved items are poor quality and easily picked in under 5 seconds by an amateur. That includes cheap TSA combo locks which can be opened by feel due to poor design tolerances. This only applies to locks with the TSA logo on them. The purpose of the master keys is to allow security inspection for travel safety, and this mostly defeats the purpose of having a lock on a bag in the first place. Preventing theft of your property is not something TSA gives one care about. This is the moral unpacked.
However, I merely posted this because their source sketch is shown as a SolidWorks model. I didn't post gun plans. Don't post gun plans. Really.

We all know the lock is just keep the lid, zipper close. So they don't open during transport.
Thief can take the whole thing anyway.
