Make the grid scales go away

Unread post by MJuric »

I think I've looked thru every setting I could find to try and make these go away. I have no idea what happened to make them pop up in the first place. Can someone tell me how to make the grid scales go away on drawings please?

So that's why I couldn't find it. I was assuming it was a setting and never even looked under view.

Also, I have no idea why I find those so annoying.

Because it take use space and doesn't even line up with sheet ruler.

So I decided to turn it back on and see why it's so bothersome.

1) I was aware of the taking up room issue but when I click it on and off it feels like A LOT more room than what it should. I think it might because of the colors and two thick bands. Anyway, seems like a lot of real estate.

2) I didn't pay enough attention to notice that nothing lines up. Looks like the "0" lines up with the edge of entire view, not the boarder of the sheet. Maybe there is some spectacular use for this but whatever it is it alludes me.
