SW Winglet

Hi,
I am trying to create a winglet in SW2018. I have a root profile, tip profile and a composite guide curve. I ask for a loft to made between the root and tip profile using the guide curve to get the winglet. However when I look at the winglet head-on the thickness of the curve is much less than the thickness of the tip profile. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to get round it?
