Perplexed about SolidWorks color choices

Unread post by mgibeault »

The header of the "Custom Properties" panel:

What they were thinking?
Is everybody has these colors? Is there a way to change this?

When switched to Default color scheme, the text is black and visible...
But then all the interface is changed.

That's odd. My scheme appears to work ok. The only issue's I've had with colors in the past is when the admin settings locked some UI colors (feature tree text, etc.) which prevented them from changing when the theme changed.

Thanks Alex!
At least I know this combination is possible somehow... When I'll have some time I'll dig into that.

I believe it does that when you altern between color schemes without restarting SolidWorks.

Could also be a color assigned in your system settings for text..? Just spit balling

I'll try that, but for the moment I'm pleased with the light schemes... reminds me of the old times!

Understandable, I liked the old color scheme but ever since "dark mode" has came to SolidWorks I switched to it, easier on the eyes concidering all the "white light" we are exposed to during a day's work.
