Some of the solidworks bend lines are missing.

Hello Friends,

Have you ever encountered something like this before? There is not a single bend line.

The interesting thing was that all the lines were there except for one. The arch thing seems active.
I tried many things, finally it was fixed when I made this element passive and then active.
I wanted to share it in case it helps someone.
(you probably all knew this.) :D

Well, the external bend lines are there but the internal ones aren't, I've never worked with parts with bends inside, perhaps there is a setting about this..?

No,
If you notice, one of the two bends in the same direction has a line and the other one doesn't.

and there are no passive elements.

Likely nothing to do with the single missing bend line but, I see bend lines in your formed model. We were plagued by this with tens of thousands of bend lines in our upper level models. (Yes I know display sketches can be turned off but then there's the time we use a sketch for mate....) After a couple years I found out that linking display state to configuration solves this. This should be automatic on sheet metal parts IMO.

This feels like a glitch. Most glitches that present as something displaying wrong or not displaying at all usually have something to do with graphics, not features.

Can you consistently reproduce the behavior or does it seem randomish? If consistent, can you try opening the file on another workstation? Preferably that doesn't have identical graphics card and driver version.

What version of SW are you using?

This is the first time this has happened to me and it only happened with this piece among many pieces that had the same shape but different dimensions. It was completely random.

The times I've seen issues similar to this, it was with bends being created using mirror and other less used methods. In your case, everything seems built in a pretty "standard" way so I'm not sure what could cause this, especially that it does concider it as a bend further down in the flat pattern folder

Sounds like Solidworks or graphics driver glitch. Feels like it goes in the "Did you try restarting solidworks?" bin. When we were new to Solidworks I would chase these things and try to track them. Now unless it's consistent on multiple workstations and multiple users and restarting SW fixes it, I throw it in that bin and forget it.
