How do I create a broken view to a parent and transfer those same break lines to a child view?
Is it possible or do I have to project the view and re-dimension as I have done in the past?

Apply the breaks to each view, then right-click on the child view and choose Properties. When you do that select the option that says "Align Break with Parent".
